MCAS Enrichment/TEA (Grade 9)

This course, required of all freshmen, focuses on the improvement of student skills and knowledge of content in the areas of mathematics, science and English.  Students will focus on test strategies, short answer and open response questions, and multiple choice testing.  Teachers will choose topics of vocational interest to provide instruction in computation, problem solving, and basic algebra and geometry.  Student’s time will be divided into classroom instruction and they will make use of technology in the technology laboratory.
